Sofia and Johanna AKA “The Pink Squad” after a cold but fun PADI Open water course. The referral PADI Open Water Course was run over a couple of days. Thanks to Moby instructor Jack.
We look forward to diving in Gozo soon!
Great to hear from you!
As the 2016 season draws to a close we have welcomed divers from across the word helping them to discover the underwater world of Gozo it is always very rewarding to get feedback so we thought we would share a few of the most recent ones…
– Terry McEvoy – Dive Holiday
Fantastic bunch of guys and girls in there, hire kit is spot on. I did ten dive in total with them over seven days. Every day was different from wrecks to cave and a few wall dives. I went as a solo diver and was budded up with other dive of the same abilities. So no issues at all on dive quality and choice. Thanks for a brilliant holiday!
Joeri E – Solid Dive Centre, Good Staff
This is a very good dive centre, recommended! Staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and very good instructors/guides, oh and fun at the same time! Rental gear fine, one of the kids did OW, very good instruction. this is an excellent choice to go diving on Gozo!
Barbara M – Our first diving certificate!…and our first sea horse!!!
We decided to choose Moby Dives because it offered the Most reasonable prices and it was ranked five stars. We actually had a very positive experience and with the help of our great teacher (Pixie) we managed to attend a course Even though we were travelling with a baby! We were also so Lucky to See a sea horse! …Thank you again Pixie and Jim!
Here at Moby Dives we welcomed 3 more newly qualified divers to the world of scuba. Congratulations to Anja on completing the PADI Open Water course yesterday (Friday 21st) with Moby’s instructor Tim. Some great dives and accomplished skills as well as a passion for the RDP tables. Great work Anja.
Congratulations also to Alex’s students Rhea and Coen who also completed there PADI Open Water course. Well done to everyone involved.
Huge congratulations to Corinne who successfully passed her PADI Scuba Diver course this afternoon with our instructor Alex
Corinne originally came to Moby Dives a couple of months ago to do her DSD – and she got the bug.
Well done Corinne – we look forward to diving with you in the future 🙂
The revised PADI Advanced Open Water Diver program launches this September (2016), and while the changes are significant, the essence of the course remains untouched. Think of it as a shiny new car, but one that’s the same model as your old familiar vehicle. Three goals drove the revision. read more →
Great to hear from you!

all in one stop for diving, sleeping and eating on Gozo
All my information of my minimal open water dive experience was taken in to account and I was safely and patiently shown the ropes again over the 4 dives, taken to amazing places and thoroughly enjoyed the variety of dives I was accompanied by Sue who was my 1 on 1 instructor over the 2 days.
I’m glad it was still quiet season as this helped me to learn more and become accustomed to diving again.
The accommodation is good ,clean and everything you need, and the food served is also good.
Many congratulations go to Mika and Leevi Van Essen, Mika for completing his Advanced Open Water course with Pixie, and Leevi starting his diving career with his Junior Scuba Diver course with Sue. As regular visitors to Gozo, the seriously proud mum and dad, Yildiz and Michel, are thrilled that Leevi has started diving now, it means that they can dive as a family without one or the other having to stay behind on ‘babysitting duties’.
We bet the diving kit shopping list just got longer too!
Wow, what a couple of weeks Hylke and Emma have had! Hylke completed his PADI Rescue Course and PADI Deep Spec, whilst Emma really went for it and aced her PADI Open Water Diver and PADI Advanced Open Water diver courses – and, they both managed to get a decent amount of fun dives in, inbetween and after too!
Some of the instructors included Alex, for Hylke’s Rescue, with Boris, Paul, Jon, Jack and Paula as associated victims, kit handlers, victims, assessors and victims. Sue had it much easier with Emma’s courses. Don’t know what Bossman is doing there – think he just likes having his photo taken.
Well done both of you, we look forward to seeing you again soon!
